Comments about Hair Conditioning Rinse, Citrus:

OK, being a stubborn person, I read the reviews of the this product, then decided to try it some more and see if it worked (even though its appearance and odor are off putting). It does. So I've increased my rating to three stars. It really does a nice job getting hair soft (I have thick, coarse hair). The smell is very strong. The bottle NEEDS a more prominent advisement to dilute... it MUST be diluted before use (I don't know about anyone else, but I only read Dr. Bronner bottles if I need a chuckle or I'm bored). I know the dilution instructions are on there, but so is the usual rambling stuff... Lastly, an industrial emulsifier would do wonders. It's not chemical, think the blenders they use to make ketchup.

Comments about Hair Conditioning Rinse, Citrus:

This product smells. No nice way to put it. It's a concentrate, so the smell is, well, concentrated! It's also gloppy, non-uniform, and a gross dark brown color (with lumps of stuff in it). I like natural/organic products, but this needs to be run through a blender or something. Maybe it's just my bottle, if it is, I got a bad batch!

Comments about Hair Conditioning Rinse, Citrus:

I"ve been "no-poo" (baking soda + water as shampoo; ACV as conditioner) for 1.5 years now, but after this past winter my hair was a bit dull and crunchy. I tried Dr Bronners hair rinse in place of the ACV and love it. My hair is shiny and soft and full of body w/o any need for additional products.

FWIW: my hair is a few inches past my shoulders, very fine, and slightly wavy. I add one cap of Dr Bronners to a 16oz bottle of warm water. After washing, I drizzle the Bronners mix over my hair and rub it into my scalp, then let it sit a minute or so before rinsing. Love it.

Takes a little bit of trial and error.

Comments about Hair Conditioning Rinse, Citrus:

I don't normally do reviews but after reading many of the other opinions before I bought this product I decided to share. I do not feel the citrus scent is overwhelming at all as some other users mentioned. I did follow the instructions on the bottle (1-2 capfuls per cup of water) and found that it left my hair very greasy and gummy. I decided to dilute it to a half capful of the product to one cup of water and only use half of that after I wash my hair with Dr. Bronner's soap. I use a wide tooth comb to brush it through evenly and rinse well and the results are on par with the more traditional conditioners, but without the chemicals. I have medium length fine hair with some natural waves.

Comments about Hair Conditioning Rinse, Citrus:

I use this rinse in conjunction with Dr Bronner's liquid Castile soaps. Yes it is brown and lumpy and does have a strong citrus scent. To me it smells like earthy Sprite if that makes any sense. I mix a little over a capful with 8-10 oz of water in a water bottle in the shower. It does burn if you get it in your eyes so make sure they are closed. Overall I'm very satisfied with my new hair routine!
